IT Technical Support Engineer (Based in Singapore)
(Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, Sarawak, Singapore[Map])
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st to 2nd level onsite and offsite desktop troubleshooting support
- Install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot and maintain workstations and related peripherals.
- Handle escalations from helpdesk and provide onsite troubleshooting support for desktop issues pertaining to Windows OS, software applications, hardware, email, networking, Internet and LAN/WAN connectivity problem.
- Involve in deployment of new hardware and/or software for multiple users and locations.
- Monitor system and communication performance and utilization.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering IT/ Computer Science or equivalent.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in IT support / helpdesk environment (Technical desktop, onsite, server and network).
- Posses a pro-active attitude towards customers and good working attitude.
- With a working experience in Windows Operating Systems (98/200/2003/XP/Vista) platform, Active Directory, etc.
- Knowledge with VMware will be an added advantage.
